Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. The famous downhill toboggan ride. As of March 2024, the experience costs €27 for a single person and €35 for 2 people, plus tips. You pay at the kiosk and join the large queue. We queued for roughly an hour. The ride itself, takes approx. 8 minutes and you stop conveniently at the gift shop, where you'll be greeted by someone selling a photo of you, on your run. You can walk back into Funchal, which takes 30-40 minutes, all downhill. Otherwise, you can catch a taxi back to town.
