I have this on a CD-R that I got a while back from thrift shop, and the hand written notes described this "Ink Spots" version as being recorded "live" in "Las Vegas" on the "Spinorama" record label. Although I did not hear any crowd chatter, or motion sounds in the background, it does have a spacious sound to where it could have been recorded in a large auditorium type location, possibly The "Dunes" Hotel? as this name was mentioned in the song as a possible hint to the recording venue used?

This song was done by many other artists as well, with "Louis Armstrong" version being very famous, and some lesser known ones, such as the 1955-56 version done by "Bill Haley". Both of these artists recorded heavily for the "Decca Records" label.
