Welcome to TEchi World Walk! Today, we explored downtown Mott Haven in the South Bronx and the Concourse neighborhood. Google Maps has not updated many new buildings around the bankside or waterfront in Mott Haven. In some places, Google Maps shows fences around the construction without the buildings. It was a fantastic walk. This was my first time exploring the waterfront since these buildings were completed. I am sure Google Maps will eventually be updated with incredible and beautiful Office and apartment buildings. Watch to the end to see all the action. Mott Haven
Mott Haven is a primarily residential neighborhood in the southwestern section of the New York City borough of the Bronx. East 149th Street generally bounds it to the north, the Bruckner Expressway to the east and south, and the Harlem River to the west, although these boundaries are not precise. East 138th Street is the primary east-west thoroughfare through Mott Haven. The neighborhood is part of Bronx Community Board 1 and is within ZIP Codes 10451, 10454, and 10455. The New York City Police Department's 40th Precinct patrols Mott Haven.
