Creating DESIGNS With the WATER DROP Technique in Resin | Easy Technique For Resin Creations

Raindrop resin technique with a twist!


In today’s video we’re playing around with the water drop technique and seeing if we can create a pretty design and get a similar effect. I’ll be using TeExpert’s UV resin and deep pour resin for this project. I’ll be making two resins trays with two different designs. The first resin trinket tray I make with a heart pattern and the second I make with a pattern using diamonds and circles. IMPORTANT: One thing to keep in mind when doing this resin technique is that uv resin can damage the silicone molds. Just like I show you in the video, my molds ended up with the imprint from the last video I made AND the imprints from the designs I made in this video. This technique has such a cool effect but it’s disappointing that the molds get damaged in the process.


*When working with resins make sure you are working in a well ventilated room and be wearing the right PPE. Resin is a chemical and can make you sick if you don't take the right precautions.*
