The traffic light turns red, and Barra Nomas and Isidora Adeley run to the crossing, shouting "Hello Amigos" in unison. They are standing in front of a three-lane road at the Siegessäule in Berlin. Then, just before the traffic light turns green, they quickly run past the cars to collect their tips for the performance. The light turns green, and as the cars start driving, they hurry back to the traffic island.
Traffic light performing, where artists entertain at intersections during red lights, started mainly in South America and is now becoming more common in Europe. It's a way for performers to showcase their skills and earn money while people wait for the light to turn green.
