In preparation for The Evil Within 2, I decided to replay the first game on the "definitive" difficulty from scratch, so no NG+ benefits or features. This series will refresh my memory on the backstories as well as piece-together the unraveling of the game's narrative, which is something I intend to preserve until the revelations are present. Only when the game gives something away will I talk in length about it, so don't worry about spoilers. The only thing I need to fear is letting the internet hear my adorable sneeze on camera. (Did I mention I will be having fun at my own expense while playing?)

Anyways, hope you enjoy this series, and I'm looking forward to talking about one of my GOTY contenders for 2014 at a later date. Hopefully with more insight provided by the sequel to illuminate why this series sticks so close to me.
