Lauren Branning returned to EastEnders on Friday night but instead of bringing her boyfriend Peter Beale, she turned up with his brother Steven.

Arriving back in Walford Lauren and Steven didn't have time to answer the question of where Peter was but now actress Jacqueline Jossa has teased that romance could be in the air for the pair.

Speaking to Mirror TV at the British Soap Awards she hinted that some brother swapping had indeed gone on for the Branning daughter.

"No, no, no, I wouldn't say that no," she said while giving a look to the camera that gave away everything .

"I wouldn't say that," she added with another epic look.
