Lake Morena County Park is a 3,250-acre park in Campo, California that features a reservoir, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities: 

Reservoir: A blue reservoir that's stocked with freshwater fish, including rainbow trout and large-mouth bass 

Camping: 86 campsites, group sites, partial RV sites, and wilderness cabins 

Fishing: Anglers can fish in the reservoir, and motorboats are available to rent 

Hiking: The Pacific Crest Trail borders the east end of the park 

Picnicking: Day-use picnic areas are available 

Wildlife: The park is home to an abundance of wildlife 

Nearby attractions: The park is close to the Laguna Mountains and offers views of desert, coastal, and mountain habitats

All boats must pass a quagga mussel inspection before launching 

The lake has shrunk in recent decades, so the shoreline is a short hike from the camp area 

The camp is over 3,000 feet, so you might need a jacket in the winter 

Bring binoculars for bird watching 

Dogs are not allowed in the cabins
