I woke up one day with a dream — to ride a bicycle across America.

In 2017, without being an avid cyclist, just someone carrying a belief, I began a 3,000-mile journey on a bicycle from San Diego to St. Augustine.

I started by dipping my bicycle into the Pacific Ocean, setting my direction toward the Atlantic Ocean — nearly 3,000 miles away.

The road carried me through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, and other states along the way. There were long desert stretches, quiet highways, fatigue, doubt, and moments where the road tested both body and spirit.

Along this journey, I had the honor of meeting members of the San Carlos Apache Tribe — a powerful reminder that every mile carries history, resilience, and human connection.

After two months on the road, I finally reached St. Augustine, dipping my bicycle into the Atlantic Ocean and completing the crossing.

This country music song is a tribute to that epic journey — to the miles, the people, the silence, the struggle, and the dream that carried me forward when experience alone was not enough.
