Features barracouta fishing in the Derwent, shark fishing off Bruny Island, crayfishing in the rockbound seas of the remote west, wild salmon fishing on Tasmania's east coast and scallop season off Bruny Island.

Also includes footage of the Eastern Fishermen's Co-operative Society and Hobart Docks.

Produced by the Dept of Film Production Tasmania with the assistance of the Eastern Tasmanian Fishermen's Cooperative Society and Sea Fisheries Division (Dept of Agriculture).
