One of the most recognizable logos of all time, the three-pointed star has been elevated to rear lighting signature by the latest generation of the E-Class. The folks at Mercedes took it one step further with the redesigned CLA, whose front lights feature this motif as well.

Mercedes-Benz AG won't be stopping there. Later in 2025, the facelifted C-Class will follow in the footsteps of the CLA with front and rear starry lights of its own. Recently spied in four- and five-door flavors with minimal camouflage wrap at both ends, the compact executive model obviously flaunts mildly revised bumpers as well.

The Stuttgart-based automaker did not bother doing any changes to the bodysides, which is hardly a surprise. Not only are we dealing with a mid-cycle refresh, but Mercedes did announce a very ambitious plan to cut production costs by decade's end. Coming on top of a previously announced plan for the period from 2019 to 2025, the new plan aims to reduce costs by 20 percent by 2030.
