And Reds reporter David Lynch was at Anfield to see Arne Slot's side bounce back from defeat to Nottingham Forest in style.

He was particularly impressed by the efforts of Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister as the hosts controlled the centre of the park.
