Enter the nearby town and be sure to purchase new gear. Search the jar inside the Weapon shop to find an Ether (00:16). There are 2 empty chests in the Armor Shop. Head up the stairs and go all the way to the right to pick up a Hi-Potion in a barrel (00:59). Enter the Relic shop and climb the stairs in the back. There is a clock containing an Elixir there (01:13). Exit town and go to the bottom left of the island. You will find a Chocobo Stable nearby (05:20)

05:33 - Maranda
Collect a Holy Water in the crates to the left of the entrance (05:34) then upgrade your gear before collecting a Remedy from the crates in the middle of town (07:46). Now head towards the town in the middle of the island.

12:44 - Vector
Head to the skinny house on the left. Simply say that you aren't loyal to the Empire and defeat the Guards. Speak to the old lady and she will heal you. Speak with the hold man hiding behind crates in the top portion of town, then head north to the next area.

14:06 - Magitek Factory
From the entrance, go west through the giant pipe and go down to a chest containing a Flametongue (14:18). Use the nearby crane to return to the prior platform. Head east and enter the rightmost pipe to collect an Ether (14:52). Now enter the pipe on your left and climb down the ladder onto some rollers. Collect the X-Potion from the chest on your left (15:33). then go east across more rollers to collect a Thunder Blade (15:36). Head south to find another chest containing a Remedy (15:42). Hop on the rollers on your left to go to the next floor.

Go to the southwest corner of this room to collect Dragon Boots (15:55). Now head north to return to the prior floor. There is a nearby chest containing a Golden Shield (16:51). Return down the stairs and head to the east of the Dragon Boots chest. Ignore the first path and take the second path south. You will find a chest containing a Golden Helm (18:12). Exit this small room and go to the right until you see a door below you. Go into the room and go left to find a Golden Armor in a hidden chest (18:47). Go up and right to find another chest containing a Tent (19:24).

Head to the northeast corner of this room to find a number of crates. You can enter the giant pipe and head south to find 2 chests that contain an Icebrand and Zephyr Cloak (20:56). Go back into the pipe and go down, jumping out of it to return to the entrance of this floor. Jump on the rollers with the Magitek Armor on them to proceed to the next area. After the cut scene, go down the next set of rollers, heal up and speak with Ifrit/Shiva.

24:27 - Ifrit & Shiva (Boss)
Ifrit is weak to ice magic and Shiva is weak to Fire. Simply have Celes be on healing while Locke uses Mug, Edgar uses Chainsaw and Gau uses Stray Cat. You can win the fight without even seeing Shiva (you still get the Beastiary entry).

Collect the magicite after the battle and exit the right door and upstairs to the next room. There is a hidden chest containing a Stone Blade in the bottom left of this room (27:44). Heal up and speak with the person blocking the door.

29:07 - Number 024 (Boss)
Use the exact same strategy to quickly win this fight. Be sure to unequip all of Celes's gear after the fight. Head north for a cut scene. Follow Cid to the elevator on the right. Heal up at the bucket then speak with Cid to begin your escape.

38:14 - Number 128, Left Blade & Right Blade (Boss)
I recommend keeping Locke on healing duty while Edgar uses Auto Crossbow and Gau uses Guard Leader's Rage Just be sure to heal with Hi-Potions and you'll win.

Exit Vector after the fight and Setzer will collect you. After some cut scenes, you are faced with another boss fight.

43:16 - Crane x2 (Boss)
Use the usual stragey while having Setzer heal with Hi-Potions.

Speak with everyone when you are Maduin to continue the story. After more cut scenes, you can now take the airship to the town just north of Vector.
