Learn Moscow Nights by Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi on piano with this tutorial! Please enjoy!

Moscow Nights is one of the best-known Russian songs outside of the country. It was released in 1955 under the name "Leningrad Nights" only to be changed, after a request by the Soviet Ministry of Culture, to "Evenings in the Moscow Suburbs." Moscow Nights has been covered by Vitas, adapted by Alma Deutscher, and covered several times since its release.

This piano tutorial for Moscow Nights was arranged professionally for anyone who wants to learn this beautiful and sad Russian song. You can find our official sheet music at the top of the description!

Lyrics:

English lyrics:
Even whispers aren't heard in the garden,
Everything has died down till morning.
If you only knew how dear to me
Are these Moscow nights.

The river moves, unmoving,
All in silver moonlight.
A song is heard, yet unheard,
In these silent nights.

Why do you, dear, look askance,
With your head lowered so?
It is hard to express, and hard to hold back,
Everything that my heart holds.

But the dawn's becoming ever brighter.
So please, just be good.
Don't you, too, forget
These summer, Moscow nights.
