Experience a hard Berlin winter in January 2026. From the frozen landscapes of Briesen to the grey streets of Kreuzberg and Karl-Marx-Straße, this is the city at -18°C.

It was not only cold but a very hard winter. The lakes were frozen and the land was frozen solid. We took well-deserved breaks with good food and wine, sharing breakfast with friends to keep the cold away.

At -18°C, the air is something you negotiate with. My mornings were spent with the agency (28014) —busy, fast, and focused. The nights were different. I spent January at the front of house for many concerts at Arkaoda, capturing sound while the city froze outside.

In this vlog, I explore the effect of the Berlin winter—how you breathe this air, walk with it, and sleep with it. We move from the morning stillness of a frozen Kreuzberg to the energy of Arkaoda and the stories told by Karl-Marx-Straße. It is a time for morning explores and the non-stop grey of the city.
