Episode 2 of 3 in PennTASH's webinar series, "Consider the Possibilities!: College Planning for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities"

Participants will learn how to prepare for a positive experience, and some of the life outcomes postsecondary environments can open for students with disabilities. Using the social model of disability as a framework, panelists will share the academic, social and community experiences that pave the way toward college. Participants will learn what skills predict admission and a positive experience, as well as some of the life outcomes postsecondary education can open for students with disabilities, such as increased employment opportunities and social networks, independent living and self-advocacy.
