We have seen the Biden administration undoing some of the Trump administration's policies, but what about the U.S.-China relations? How will the US-China relations affect Asia in 2021 and beyond? Will it turn to be for better or worse? We asked Yongwook Ryu and Drew Thompson for their insights into how the US-China relations will turn out.

Yongwook Ryu is Assistant Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS, whose research areas are on East Asian international relations and foreign policies of China, Japan, Korea and ASEAN.

Drew Thompson is Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Centre on Asia and Globalisation, a research centre at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy dedicated to conducting in-depth research on developments in the Asia-Pacific and beyond. His research areas are on US foreign policy and on China's relations with the US, North Korea and the neighbouring states.
