Side Hustle perform Journey's "Separate Ways" & Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker" onstage as a band for the very first time, and since this is the opening song of the first set.... it IS their first performance ever!

I sent 4 cameras to the TV's Live at Montes that night, and for the most part that's what this footage is from.... with some static and cable-cam footage thrown in for good measure and synced to audio provided from the board and mixed by Zach Lacey :)

Since I had so many cameras to keep track of, it took a few songs to get all the ISO settings dialed in, so a few of the cameras are washed out a bit since as I stated at already, this is the beginning of the show and I was kinda busy blocking the shots and making sure they all at least had picture going to the switcher :)

I shoot a LOT of video, but its always nice to capture a bands first performance, even though in these days of cell phones (at least from those smart enough to hold them horizontally) its not as rare an occasion as it was 40 years ago to see. Hopefully, this is better then most cell phone videos..... if not I'm doing SOMETHING wrong :)

Anyways.....to commemorate the occasion of their first ever public performance I included the 2nd track as a Bonus ..... Enjoy!

As usual, HUGE Thank You to Aret, Nancy, Bruce and all the staff and crew from Montes for accommodating me for the last few weeks while I worked the bugs out of the Streaming gear and for providing such a great venue to capture an event at time after time.
