Exploring Sapporo 🎏🌨️ | 🍜Ramen Alley, Nijo Market, Shiroi Koibito Park 🛍️ | 4 Hr Train to Hakodate 🚆

In this video, I’m going to show you the wonderful time I spent in Sapporo exploring all the local delights! 🌟😄

🛁 Post ski-trip as I come back to the city, we went to a luxurious Japanese bathhouse to rest and recover our bodies at Susukino Tennen Onsen [すすきの天然温泉]. I’ll show you how is it like inside and nothing beats having a delectable meal after your bath, so let’s see what the restaurant offers! 🍱

🍥🍢🍲 The next day, I go to Nijo market and a second visit back to Shiroi Koibito Park, the famous langue-de-chat biscuit factory! 🍪

🍫☕️ There’s this chocolate cafe in the marvellous factory-theme park that I was totally looking forward to and I got their signature delicacy like the delicious Baum cake with chocolate ice cream and the famous drinking chocolate this time! You’ll see how beautiful it is inside there and have a good idea of how it’s like to bring your friends and family!

🥳 Because I travelled in early winter, I was ahead of the holiday crowd and managed to finish the tour early!

⌛ Thank god for the extra time, because I could squeeze in some last bit of Omiyage shopping around Sapporo station, visiting the iconic Sapporo Times Square store for their delicious loofa cakes and the freshly-made Dorayaki, plus the Apia Underground Shopping Center where I found lots of delicious treasures to bring back home! 🍰 🍡

🎉 There’s lot of local okashi and omiyage I’ll introduce in this video, so check out the time stamps for “okashi shopping” if you’re looking for something nice to get! 🎁

🍜 🦪 Finally, it was dinner time and we hit Ramen alley as I settled for a shop with lesser queues where it serves a rich and flavourful miso clam ramen.

🎄🚶‍♂️We took a walk back after a full meal and the night view is made unforgettable by the beautiful Christmas illuminations along the way to Odori Park. Since it’s early winter, we only get a little bit of snow but I like that it’s not dumping hard as travelling is easier this way!

🚄 Last but not least, I take the train from JR Sapporo station to Hakodate, a challenging 4 hours where it’s not really short, but can’t be considered long either! Check out the train ride with me as I take you through the last of these snowy landscapes in Northern Japan before we go to Honshu (Japan mainland).
