Remembering Duane Eddy

So very sad to hear the news about my friend and guitar pioneer Duane Eddy passing away yesterday. My deepest condolences go out to my friend, Duane's wife Deed, and their entire family. I've been fortunate to interview many of the greats in this business. A select few of them have gone on to become good friends whom I speak with continually. Duane was one of those and I was very fortunate to call him a friend.
Duane was a pioneer in every sense of the word, and a true stylist, carving out his own niche. No one sounded like him before he arrived, but many tried to sound like him after. But there will only ever be one Master of Twang.
I will certainly miss him and all of the great talks we had. Thanks for the music Duane. It was great to call you a friend. Gonna miss you big time....
