An audio recording of Jame Backhouse Walker's Abel Janszoon Tasman: His Life and Voyages (read in 1895 but printed in 1896). An interesting read about a discoverer who we know very little about. The image on the video for instance is the only painting of him that exists; we aren't completely sure though. Although the language is somewhat turgid which was typical of the period. Written copies are available at the State Library of Victoria website, or at Project Gutenberg Australia.
