Satan's Generals: Charles Fox Parham

Описание к видео Satan's Generals: Charles Fox Parham

Charles Fox Parham (1873 - 1929) was a fundamentalist preacher and evangelist usually credited as the father of modern-day Pentecostalism. Before starting his sect of fundamentalism, Parham spent time observing the communes of sects created by Frank Sanford and John Alexander Dowie. Newspapers describe Parham as a financial opportunist. He was involved with a scam, swindling money from people with a product advertised to turn ordinary rocks into gold, and it appears that this money was used to fund the commune in Topeka, KS. He was an outspoken supporter of the Ku Klux Klan for their "their high ideals for the betterment of mankind". Parham taught the British Israelism Doctrine to Wesley A. Swift, which Swift would use to create the Christian Identity Doctrine that William Branham re-branded as his "Serpent's Seed Doctrine".
