Running against the world’s best sprint stars, Julien Alfred dropped a phenomenal 10.72 seconds to win the 100 meters final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This was not just victory, it was the first Olympic medal for St. Lucia, and Julien’s first Olympic medal, making her an Olympic champion in her maiden Olympic Games.
