In this video, I demonstrate how to set up and use a rotary encoder with an Arduino Nano board to measure angular velocity (RPM) and rotation direction.

This project uses the E40S6-360-3-T-24 rotary encoder, two L7805CV voltage regulator ICs, 12 kΩ resistors, and a 12V 33A 400W DC power supply. With this setup, you'll learn how to process data from the encoder and display real-time results on the Arduino IDE's serial monitor.
