Angelica wants to investigate her options for a medical career outside of the hospital environment so she's meeting a midwife and a dietician to find out what these careers involve. Angelica discovers being a midwife is a wonderful career for someone who loves working with people and caring for a woman before, during and after birth. She joins midwife Carly at a pre-natal check then heads to the home of a new mother for a post-natal check.

Next she meets Rachel, a dietician who works with people wanting to put weight on or who have special dietary needs. Angelica joins Rachel on a home visit to a patient who due to cancer is now unable to eat normally but instead has a feeding bag. Rachel has been working with the patient to try and get his weight stable after significant weight loss following his illness. Rachel explains to Angelica that working in this field is very rewarding with the benefits of the treatments she's implementing very visible.
