Post-Operation Eye Care Instructions :
1. After returning home, remove the white pad and use the prescribed medications as instructed. Always wear the dark glasses.
2. Use the dark glasses continuously for the next one and a half months, and wear either the eye guard or the dark glasses while sleeping.
3. Determine who will assist you with your eye care.
4. Take clean cotton and boil it in water for 15–20 minutes. Let it cool, then use it to clean your eyes after washing your hands with soap and clean water.
5. Wash your hands with soap and clean water before applying eye drops.
6. While applying eye drops, gently pull down the lower eyelid and apply one drop. Ensure the medicine bottle's cap is securely closed after use.
7. Do not lie on the side of the operated eye.
8. You can bathe from the neck down using clean water, but do not pour water over your head without the doctor's advice.
9. If you need to wash your hair, do it lying down, wearing dark glasses, with your head tilted as far back as possible. Be cautious to ensure no water touches your eyes.
10. You can wipe your face and head with a cloth soaked in warm water.
11. Shave and brush your teeth very carefully.
12. Avoid straining during bowel movements.
13. For conditions like cold, cough, high blood pressure, diabetes, or other illnesses, consult your physician.
14. Keep away from children as they might accidentally hurt your eyes.
15. Stay away from individuals with contagious diseases.
16. Maintain personal hygiene and stay in a clean environment.
17. Do not drive vehicles such as cars, scooters, or bicycles without the doctor's approval. Avoid alcohol and other intoxicants.
18. Always bring your medications and prescription when visiting the hospital for a follow-up.
19. Immediately contact the hospital if your eyes become red, painful, swollen, excessively dirty, or if you encounter any other problems.
20. A prescription for corrective glasses (if needed) will be provided within 5–6 weeks after the operation.
Proper eye care, precaution, discipline, and adherence to medical advice ensure the success of eye surgery.

১। ছুটির পর বাড়ী গিয়ে সাদা প্যাডটি খুলে দিতে হবে। নির্দেশমত ঔষধ ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং কালো চশমাটি পরে থাকতে হবে।
২। পরবর্তী দেড় মাস পর্যন্ত সবসময় কালো চশমাটি ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং শোবার সময় আই গার্ডটি অথবা কালো চশমাটি পরে থাকতে হবে।
৩। চোখের যত্ন নেবার জন্য আপনার পরিচর্যা কে করবেন, তা নির্ণয় করে দিতে হবে।
৪। পরিস্কার তুলো জলে নিয়ে সেই জল ১৫-২০ মিনিট ফুটিয়ে ঠান্ডা করে নিতে হবে। সাবান এবং পরিস্কার জলে হাত ধুয়ে, তুলোর জল ভালো করে নিংড়ে নিয়ে সাবধানে চোখ পরিস্কার করতে হবে।
৫।চোখে ঔষধ দেবার আগে পরিস্কার জল ও সাবান দিয়ে হাত ধুয়ে নিতে হবে।
৬। ঔষধ দেবার সময় চোখের নীচের পাতাটি সাবধানে টেনে নিয়ে এক ফোঁটা ঔষধ দিতে হবে এবং ঔষধের কৌটোর ঢাকনাটি ভালোকরে লাগিয়ে রাখতে হবে।
৭। যে চোখে অপারেশন হয়েছে সেদিকে কাত হয়ে সোয়া যাবে না।
৮। গলা থেকে নীচের দিকে পরিস্কার জলে স্নান করতে পারবেন, ডাক্তারবাবুর পরামর্শ ছাড়া কখনই মাথায় জল ঢেলে স্নান করা যাবে না।
৯। মাথা ধুতে গেলে বিচানায় শোয়া অবস্থায় কালো চশমা পরে ,মাথা পিছন দিকে যতটা সম্ভব হেলিয়ে, আস্তে আস্তে ধুয়ে নিন। তবে কোন অবস্থাতেই চোখে জল যেন না লাগে-তা অবশ্যই মনে রাখতে হবে।
১০। কাপড় গরম জলে ভিজিয়ে তা দিয়ে মাথা ও মুখমন্ডল মুছে নিতে পারেন।
১১। খুব সাবধানে দাড়ি কাটবেন এবং দাঁত মাজবেন।
১২। শৌচাগারে / পায়খানায় গিয়ে চাপ দেবেন না।
১৩। সর্দি-কাশি, উচ্চ রক্তচাপ, ডায়াবেটিস কিংবা অন্য রোগের চিকিৎসায় অবশ্যই ফিজিশিয়ান (Physician) ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নেবেন।
১৪। শিশু ও ছোটদের থেকে দূরে থাকবেন। ওরা অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে আপনার চোখে আঘাত করতে পারে।
১৫। সংক্রামক রোগীদের থেকে দূরে থাকুন।
১৬।নিজেকে পরিষ্কার রাখুন এবং পরিষ্কার পরিবেশে থাকুন।
১৭। চিকিৎসকের অনুমতি ছাড়া গাড়ি, স্কুটার, সাইকেল ইত্যাদি চালাবেন না। নেশা বর্জন করুন।
১৮। অপারেশনের পর প্রত্যেকবার হাসপাতালে চেক-আপে আসার সময় ব্যবহার করা ঔষধ ও প্রেসক্রিপশান নিয়ে আসবেন।
১৯) চোখ লাল হলে, যন্ত্রণা হলে, চোখ ফুলে গেলে, বেশী করে নোংরা জমলে বা অন্যকোন সমস্যা হলে অতি সত্বর হাসপাতালে যোগাযোগ করুন।
২০। অপারেশনের ৫-৬ সপ্তাহের মধ্যে প্রয়োজন হলে আপনাকে পাওয়ার চশমা দেওয়া হবে।

চোখের যত্ন, সাবধানতা, নিয়মানুবর্তিতা ও চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ - চোখের অপারেশনকে সাফল্যমন্ডিত করে তোলে এটা মনে রাখতে হবে।
