Because our set was unrehearsed we were compelled to play more familiar tunes and there are inevitable playing mistakes. However, we both wanted to showcase, in an informal and extemporaneous setting, the beauty and melodic possibilities accessible on the E9th tuning.
We each have deep respect and admiration for the other's musical gifts, so this event was an especially rewarding and emotionally satisfying experience.
We hope, as you watch and listen, that you'll experience some of that same excitement we felt.
