Built from six plies of select American hickory, the Tama SLP Hickory snare drum delivers a warm, articulate response and a breathy top end that works perfectly for jazz, blues, and other funk-based styles of music. Paired with its 8-hole, 2.3mm triple-flanged Steel Mighty Hoops and mini brass tube legs, this snare offers amazing visuals.

With the top of the line TAMA hardware like the Linear-Drive throw off and butt plate, 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires, and premium Evans G1/Snare Side heads, its the performance snare of choice.
