Planning is not my strongest side. But over the years I have become better at it, and this has taken my bird photography to the next level. Because this helps me visualize how to get the shot I wanted, and how to achieve this.

The white backed woodpecker has been a species I wanted to photograph for years. And now it finally happend with good planning and research.
