Imparare ad ascoltare un articolo di giornale in una lingua straniera, che non è la nostra, può essere una bella sfida per molti. La velocità può risultare frustrante, il non capire ogni singola parola fa perdere il senso generale del testo. E rinunciamo.

Ma durante queste mie lezioni di ascolto non sarai lasciato solo. Analizzeremo questo interessantissimo articolo che ho selezionato per te (https://www.enewsdispatch.com/burger-...) insieme, andandone ad approfondire tutti termini più complessi.

E se non basterà avrai il testo proprio qui, in descrizione, per permetterti di seguire tutto quello che viene detto durante questa lezione.

A piccoli passi stiamo costruendo un lessico nuovo, stiamo rispolverando la grammatica che pensavi di aver dimenticato per sempre, oppure stiamo andando ad arricchirla.

The Impossible Burger is a burger that tastes exactly like beef, but it was made using vegetables and science. There are many kinds of “veggie burgers,” for vegetarians, but this one is made for meat lovers.
The company that makes this burger, Impossible Foods, wants to change the food that people eat to reduce climate change.

At the Impossible Foods lab, a scientist works on creating a vegetable burger that smells and looks exactly like beef.
It has the same flavour and the same texture.
The key ingredient is a chemical complex, called HEME, which is taken from plants.
This gives the burger its red color when raw, and turns it brown when cooked.

Some of the other ingredients come from wheat, potato, and coconut.
They sizzle when cooked, and give it a crispy and meaty texture.

The Impossible Burger has the same nutrition as beef, without the unhealthy parts. In fact, taste, nutrition, and reducing climate change were all equally important when creating the burger.

Intensive animal farming is actually terrible for the environment. Cows need lots of land and water, and they create greenhouse gases. To make a regular hamburger, we waste a lot of water and we produce gases.

However, an Impossible Burger uses 95% less land, 75% less water, and creates 85% less greenhouse gases than a beef burger.
That’s why this burger was made for meat lovers.

The goal is for them to eat less meat in order to protect environment. Meanwhile they can still eat delicious burgers that taste like real meat.
