Creationists are scared poopless of facts and knowledge. In a pathetic attempt to protect their illusions of an afterlife, they attack all that they RECOGNIZE as falsifying and refuting their delusional beliefs. Scientific explanations (theory) of mountains of evidence (fact) are particularly threatening to people who are too ignorant, obtuse, or scared to recognize that Genesis is an allegorical creation myth. Those Christians who recognize that the Bible is allegorical and packed with human-invented error, need not fear knowledge.

Hard evidence is far better than an eye witness. Eyewitness testimony is known to be one of the least reliable sources of information and humans are capable of being less than honest. Empirical evidence on the other hand, just is. It doesnt lie. You have to be quite irrational to be willing to ignore a mountain of empirical evidence simply because no one witnessed the event first hand. In this video I take that position to its logically absurd end.

Now of course no creationist will admit they are suffering from Projection, but they dont have to. If you learn the signs its quite easy to spot. Many have also been known to project the strengths of science onto their religion. Ever heard a creationist claim The bible is the most accurate science book in history or Scientific findings actually prove the bible. All just delusional projection. Sad really.
