The Dean Mako Dave Mustaine Flame Top Electro Acoustic, Gloss Natural is Dave Mustaine's signature electro acoustic guitar and is named Mako because of its shark inspired aesthetic features. These features include a Mako shark graphic on the black headstock, pearl Dave Mustaine Custom fingerboard inlays, and a shark gill-shaped sound-hole.

The unique sound-hole provides plenty of projection and adds to its edgy, shark-inspired appearance. The Dean Mako electro acoustic is crafted from a range of carefully selected tonewoods including flame maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. This stunning mixture of timber delivers a bright, precise tone with tight lows, rich distinct warmth, and articulate highs.

In addition to its superb acoustic tone, the Dean Mako sounds just as great amplified through its Fishman Isys+ preamp, making it ideal for the gigging musicians.
