Back To The 90's Update - Forza Horizon 5

Thanks to our Friends at FORZA for providing us this preview!

Horizon Backstage is a storefront of hard-to-find cars, previously only accessible via the Festival Playlist.

Players can only buy a car from the Backstage Shop by using a Backstage Pass.

To obtain Backstage Passes:

Once per week, players can buy a Backstage Pass from the #Forzathon Shop for 1000 #Forzathon points
Once per week, players can earn a Backstage Pass by achieving 40 points in that week’s Playlist.
Between these two methods, players can collect a maximum of two Backstage Passes per week (a season of the Festival Playlist).
New cars are added to Horizon Backstage via a community vote. Since two new cars will be added per week, the community will select for one of two “sets” of cars (e.g. you can vote for Set 1, which contains Car X and Car Y; or you can vote for Set 2, which contains Car A and Car B).

At the end of the week, results will be calculated, and the winning cars will be added to the Backstage Shop at the start of the next season (week).

The cars that did not win the popular vote will be added back to the “pool” of hard-to-find Festival Playlist cars and will eventually reappear in a new voting match-up sometime in the future.

To celebrate the opening of the Horizon Backstage on October 10 (which is when the feature will be first available), all players will receive a complimentary Backstage Pass via an in-game message (expected delivery: Oct. 10).
(So, players can actually get a maximum of 3 Backstage Passes during the first week of the new series.)

Below, here are the initial cars that can be obtained from the Backstage Shop starting October 10:

1980 Fiat 131 Abarth
2021 BMW M4 Competition Coupe
2013 Cadillac XTS Limousine
1967 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL
2016 Pagani Huayra BC
2022 Rivian R1S

Other things to know:

Players can only buy 1 specific car from the Backstage Shop once (example: a player can’t spend more Backstage Passes to buy two of the Fiat Abarth 131; they can purchase a maximum of one Fiat Abarth 131).
Cars bought from the Horizon Backstage CAN be put in Auction House or Gift Drops.
