Next: The Candlelight Ceremony, a musical retelling of the Christmas story, offers a quiet and reverent atmosphere—very different from the park’s usual high-energy fun. Each year, hundreds of people gather holding candles to listen to a celebrity narrator that changes annually. The powerful live choir is made up of Disney cast members and volunteers. For a brief moment, Disneyland falls silent, and this special ceremony lasts for only two days.
