Sometimes the beauty isn't in the building—it's in the breaking.

For the last 18 months, I've been on an intense journey of healing. My identity was built on striving, awards, and a "success" powered by fear. It took 7 surgeries, my mom's cancer recovery, my dad's stroke, my sister's kidney failure, and a severe car accident to shake me to my core and force me to see what truly matters.

I was chasing accomplishments while the relationships God gave me were starving.

This song, "Beauty in the Breaking," is my story. It’s an emotional ballad about the grueling process of destroying your ego, letting go of the identity society praises, and finding true strength in the remaking. It's about realizing a conversation with your son is more important than another call, and that peace with God is the real foundation for success.
