Reverand Michael Rozier, S.J. is assistant professor of Health Management & Policy and Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University. After receiving his B.A. in chemistry from Saint Louis University, he entered the Jesuit order, earned graduate degrees in philosophy from the University of Toronto, in international health from Johns Hopkins University and in moral theology from Boston College. He earned his Ph.D. in Health Management and Policy from University of Michigan, where his research focused on the emergence of new ethical questions related to population health strategies and the rhetorical methods used to advance health policies. Rozier served as an ethics fellow with the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland and worked directly with communities of need -- including the homeless, incarcerated, and refugees -- both in the US and in Latin America.
