Video Summary:

00:00 Introduction
The Camacho Corojo was reviewed using the Bespoke Unit Cigar Formula, a quantifiable review matrix. Furthermore, the cigars have been stored in a Boveda acrylic humidor with 69% Boveda packs for a period of three weeks to ensure that they were properly acclimated and ready to be evaluated.

00:45 Cigar Overview
First cultivated by Diego Rodriguez in Cuba, the Corojo is a crossing between the Mesoamerican Criollo and the Indonesian Sumatra. It was a speciality of the Eiroa family who created Camacho, which was later acquired by Davidoff Cigars. The cigar consists of only Corojo tobacco from Honduras.

02:31 Look & Feel
Thanks to the powerband technique, the Corojo often has impeccable construction. Its spring is firm with a cacao nib colour. It doesn't have an intensely oily sheen and has a matte finish. The veins are somewhat rustic and the foot delivers notes of dark chocolate, tonka bean, and dried earth.

04:06 Prelight
The prelight showcases a perfect airflow with notes of molasses, compost, and cacao.

04:50 Tasting Notes
The first third consists of rosewood, molasses, and pepper. The second third reveals dijon mustard, coffee grounds, and pepper. The final third finishes with leather, oak, and pepper. It's not overly complex and its mouthfeel isn't particularly refined. However, it's a balanced and intriguing experience. It lives up well to the "bold everyday smoke" name.

08:50 Burn
The Camacho Corojo's burn is very good and any issues tend to correct themselves. However, it's not perfect. The draw is ideal while the temperature may heat up if you smoke too quickly. Otherwise, the ash is excellent.

10:01 Overall Experience
The band is big and brash, which means that it needs removing quite early on into the smoking experience. However, it has a stylish presentation. The box follows the style with a lacquer finish. Cost-wise, expect to pay around $8.50 for a single stick.

12:57 Pairings
The Camacho Corojo goes well with dark chocolate, pretzels, and Brazil nuts. As for beverages, consider things like dark rum, Highland single malt whisky, and black coffee such as an Americano.
