Gary Groth is former editor-in-chief of The Comics Journal, and owner and publisher of Fantagraphics Books. Fantagraphics, one of the respected "art house" publishers of comics and graphic novels in the country, is currently reprinting Charles Schulz's entire output in a series of handsome hardcovers. Groth met Charles Schulz several times, and in the 1980s conducted one of the most in-depth and valuable professional interviews we have with the artist. Cosponsored by the University of Oregon School of Journalism.
