Mother's Day Pie Ingredients:

PIE CRUST:

2 1/2 cup flour
1 cup butter, chilled, diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water

FILLING:

1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water
2 cups strawberries, sliced
2 cups raspberries

Mother's Day Pie Steps:

1. In a large bowl, combine half the flour and half the salt.

2. Cut in half the butter, until mixture resembles crumbles.

3. Stir in half the water, 1 tablespoon at a time until the mixture resembles a ball.

4. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4+ hours.

5. Repeat process with the other half of the ingredients.

6. In a large saucepan, combine raspberries, strawberries, flour, sugar, and cinnamon until coated.

7. Add water and lemon juice to the berries.

8. Stir often until it starts bubbling a bit and mixture thickens.

9. Remove from heat and set aside.

10. Sprinkle flour on a clean surface. Roll out one of the dough balls until it forms a circle that fits a nine in pie pan and put into the pan.

11. Pour the filling into the pie pan.

12. Roll out the second ball of dough and cut out the letters to spell "Happy Mother's Day".

12. Strategically place the letters on top of the filling.

13. Bake for 45 min at 350 F.

14. Give to mom!
