Hey YouTubers. This will be my first video so hope you guys like it. Today I'm going to be talking about a very important procedure and that is how to calibrate your elevation drum for your 200 yard zero. Hope you enjoy!

Here is the trajectory of a standard (22") M1A rifle using Sierra 168 grain MatchKing bullets. It is METRIC so beware!

WINDAGE ADJUSTMENT CALIBRATION
1. Center the rear sight windage line by eyeballing it.
2. Loosen the front sight blade screw and slide it then lock it down in place.
-This is largely a trial and error process that does waste a lot of ammo.
-If you want the bullet impact to go to the RIGHT then you need to move the front sight blade to the RIGHT. Go with the flow so to speak!
3. I would buy a laser boresighter that is in the shape of a 308 Win cartridge and insert it into the rifle. Then adjust the front sight until it lines up with the laser dot on the target. This would probably be cheaper in the long run too because you wouldn't be wasting any costly ammo.
