This presentation is a tutorial on the teachings of Dr. Gerald Schroeder in his books Genesis and the Big Band & the Science of God.

OVERVIEW
The expansion of the universe stretches both space & time. This is accepted Cosmology, and we know how much the expansion of the universe has stretched time since the big bang.

From our perspective, from the space-time coordinates of earth, looking back in time to the beginning of the universe, thru the lens of our expanding universe, 13.77 billion years have passed.

If we were there at the big bang and could look forward in time from the beginning of the universe and watch it develop until the present, how much time would have passed? This is exactly Torah’s perspective, looking forward in time from the beginning of the universe (beginning of time) until the present. From Torah's perspective 6 days have passed.

In this presentation we will calculate how much the expansion of the universe has stretched time since the big bang. From the Torah's perspective only 6 days have passed. Using this time stretch factor I will show that the 6 day duration has been stretched by the expansion of the universe to 13.77 billion years from our perspective. This is the reality of our expanding universe – time is relative. Both perspectives are scientifically and cosmologically correct.
