PLEASE READ

I wish it was as easy as saying
Wheel good
Or
Wheel bad
But it is just so much more complicated than that. Think of this like a Joe Rogan podcast and not a 25 second commercial. I want to put out as much information with as little bias as possible. Spoiler alert - 90% of riders will not care about the things I’m being picky about. Cheers.

The more I ride the Apex the better the assessment I have will be. I’ve had this video ready for a few days but each day I ride the Apex I feel I understand more of what is happening under my feet.

This video is from my first few miles on the Production Apex. Since then I’ve ridden much more and want to let everyone know I do 100% still feel some weird things happening with the pedal firmware in sharp steep corners. It’s almost as if just turning the wheel from North to East makes the IMU confused. Any changes in the Z axis.

I am also starting to believe my instability is much more induced by the suspension height and not the tire. Don’t think that it is only because of pedal height tho, I will try to explain, at “150”mm height the suspension is so squishy and dead at the top end that it just feels like the tire is flopping around under you when you are trying to hop. This height will be great for anyone seeking comfort over performance. In my opinion the “100”mm, the 5th position out of 7, is giving me the best results. The ride is much rougher but I am able to hop up and over things without the tire flopping down an extra ~40mm and slapping the rock I’m trying to clear.
