Mick Murphy Menswear is an award winning, family run business, based in the heart of Cork City since 1959. We stock the latest range in menswear from across many leading brands, in suiting, fashion and footwear.

We opened our doors in June 1959 in Corks North Main street, less than a two minute walk from the main thoroughfare of Patrick Street. Under the ownership of the late Mick Murphy, the store quickly gained its reputation for treating the customer like family. It was his commitment to customer service that ensured a legion of loyal customers,with many of the original customers still shopping here today.

Mick Murphy Menswear today bares little resemblance to the original store opened in 1959. In 1964 Mick Murphy Menswear moved next door to the site it occupies today, and effectively doubled the size of the premises. The store had a huge refurbishment in 2009, which allowed us to devote one whole floor to men’s suiting, boasting an impressive over 1000 suits to choose from.

In keeping with our tradition of family, we have remained a family run business, with three generations of Murphy’s working here so far. With over 55 years experience in menswear fashions, we are committed to providing the care and advice to all of our customers that they have come to expect.

We have dressed generations of Cork families for their special occasions over the years from Communions, to Confirmations, to Weddings and everything in between. It is our commitment to our customer, and wanting the best for them, which has made us the number one choice for Cork men since 1959.
