Needleman-Wunsch Explained Clearly

In this video, I show you how to apply the Needleman-Wunsch algorithm manually to align DNA or protein sequences, I also show a python implementation of the global alignment algorithm. I explaain clearly how to perform the Needleman-Wunsch algorithm step by step on paper for two protein sequences with the PAM120 substitution matrix and a gap penalty. After that, I show how you can achieve these alignments way quicker by writing a little python script.
