Just south of Greenwich is Blackheath which is one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in London. Strictly speaking it's in Kent actually. It was where Wat Tyler gathered his troops before the peasants revolt of 1381 and also where Jack Cade prepared for his assault on London too.....but most important of all it's where the Bridgerton House is! Actually called the Ranger's House.
Blackheath was also home to Caroline of Brunswick, queen of King George IV who lived in a house shaped like a pagoda and also another one previously occupied by Lord Montagu and Ignatius Sancho.
