My Goldilocks day looks as a Pilgrim

Leaving Mérida was a sight to behold. The rising sun filtered through the Roman aqueducts on the edge of town, reminding me of this area's historical past. My walk to Aljucén was perfect in every sense. The weather was just right, the distance manageable, and the scenery stunning with wildlife and blooming flowers all around.
Days like this make me truly thankful to be a pilgrim. The rich conversations with strangers and the way everything seemed to fall into place filled me with gratitude.
