In this March 30, 2021 interview, Charles Martin, publisher of Inner Light Books, speaks with Marcelle Martin about his call to publish books about the Quaker faith to help revive what is best in the spiritual practices of Quakers (members of the Religious Society of Friends). He speaks of how he experienced the call to change professions and become a publisher of books, and describes the changes that happened over time, as he moved from reprinting books written long ago to publishing manuscripts by living Quaker authors. He talks about the importance of sustaining the living ministry and what he has learned from working with Quaker authors from different parts of the world. He gives testimony to his own experience of faithfulness and to the importance of making time to hear and follow the guidance of God.
