In 2007, Mario and Sonic appeared in a game together for the first time in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, which IGN called in an interview with Nintendo and Sega a "historic peace treaty.” This was such a big deal back in the day as many wouldn’t think such a crossover was possible.

Next we have Jump Force/J-Stars which is basically Super Smash Bros. It is a 3v3 tag-team fighter with the most iconic characters in Anime, From Goku, Naruto, and Luffy duking it out in real time.

Speaking of Smash Bros, The Super Smash series is by far the most ambitious crossover fighting game possibly of all time. Each release becomes a generational game for each Nintendo console.

The only crossover fighting game that would come close is the Marvel Vs Capcom series: With the likes of the Street Fighter Cast and Mega Man going up against the Avengers.

Lastly we have Fortnite, say what you will about Battle Royale shooters, as far as crossovers go, Fortnite has over 414 Collab skins connecting so many different universes you would never expect to be in the same game.
