Fishing the Dam on Wheeler lake for a $33,500 Bass Boat at Toyota Championship!

Made it to the Toyota Championship in my first year as a Co angler. Had to go into this tournament blind due to traveling. On day 2 we headed down toward the dam and threw a demiki rig most of the day. Caught my first Small Mouth Bass ever on a rock pile in the river. We ran into a ton of big drum that fought really hard. My boater made a late adjustment and targeted structure 20-30 feet from the bank that was holding fish. Large mouth bass filled his limit and he was so close to cutting a check. Really fun day on the water with lots of catches just not the right ones for me. I'm ready for next season and another shot at the championship.
