WHEEL PROFILE
You may notice a discrepancy between what we designate a wide, standard or narrow and what the brands do. This classification is our opinion based on years of skating, as well as looking at the profile of the wheel as it compares to what we believe is a standard profile. You just have to trust us on this.

Wide - Wide wheels provide more traction and stability at high speed, so you'll be less likely to slip out of your line.

SURFACE TYPE
Smooth - Smooth wheels have a shiny coating on their surface that is commonly referred to as its skin or mold release. Smooth wheels are generally preferred for their grip and traction.

FORMULA
All-Terrain Formula (ATF) - All-Terrain Formula wheels are poured in a special soft urethane Bones calls "All-Terrain Formula." ATF wheels are excellent for rougher terrain so regardless of road quality, this revolutionary formula will roll you there quickly and smoothly.

DUROMETER
80a - Soft with plenty of grip. You'll be able to smoothly roll over rough surfaces without getting hung-up on cracks or small rocks. These wheels are slightly harder than the standard 78a and are easier to initiate into slides and drifts. They offer great slide control and are more durable, but won't slow you down as quickly as 78a wheels. Ideal for cruising, carving, freeride, and downhill. Also a good filming duro as its a bit faster than some of the softer varieties.

Urethane skate wheels generally range from 75a-101a, the numbers increase with the hardness of the wheel.
